October saw a slight decrease in Las Vegas home prices, which is good news for buyers, especially first time home buyers, but prices are still higher compared to a year ago.
The median house price in Las Vegas dipped to $295,025 in October as inventory soared.
That number is down 1.7-percent from September.
But prices are still on the climb from a year ago.
That’s according to a new report from the Greater Las Vegas Association of Realtors.
Broker Brandy White Elk is with Innovative Real Estate Strategies.
“We’re seeing a little bit of a correction right now. The good news is it gives us an opportunity, to have some of our first time home buyers to actually find a home they’ll fall in love with,” said Brandy White Elk.
“Also, some of the buyers, get into the house of their dreams, because we’ve had such a lack of inventory over the last few ,” she continued.
